Amul Managing Director Jayen Mehta has been honoured with the IAA Leader of the Year – FMCG (Food) award at the 13th IAA Leadership Awards, held in Mumbai recently. The award recognises Mehta’s leadership of Amul, one of India’s most prominent food brands and dairy cooperatives.
Organised by the International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter, the awards recognised leaders across business, advertising, marketing, media and entertainment.
The event, attended by more than 250 industry leaders, was held under the theme ‘The Power of Balance’, highlighting leadership amid rapid changes in technology, business and consumer behaviour.
Other major honours went to Sun Pharma founder Dilip Shanghvi, actor Sidharth Malhotra and several industry leaders. The winners were selected by a jury chaired by Prabha Narasimhan, MD and CEO of Colgate-Palmolive India.
