Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday underscored the growing role of cooperatives in strengthening agriculture while inaugurating the ‘Krishi Karmayogi Orientation’ training and workshop at Ravindra Bhavan.
Positioning cooperatives at the center of rural transformation, the Chief Minister launched a series of digital platforms aimed at improving governance and farmer outreach. These included the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Varsh Dashboard, the PACS Membership Registration Portal, the Integrated Cooperative Management Information System, and the CM Kisan Helpline (155253).
Yadav said these initiatives will modernize the cooperative ecosystem by making services more transparent, accessible, and technology-driven. He emphasized that Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) will play a key role in connecting farmers with institutional support, ensuring timely access to credit, inputs, and services.
The Chief Minister reiterated that a strong and digitally empowered cooperative structure is essential for farmer welfare and sustainable agricultural growth in Madhya Pradesh.
