The Co-operative Election Authority (CEA), Ministry of Cooperation, has approved the recommendation for the election of Rajendrabhai Laljibhai Bambhrolia as Vice-Chairman of the Varachha Co-Operative Bank Ltd., Surat.
According to the communication issued by the CEA, Bambhrolia was elected unopposed to the post. The approval was granted following recommendations received from the District Deputy Registrar, Surat, and the Assistant Returning Officer.
The Returning Officer has been requested to formally declare the result and ensure compliance with election-related requirements.
The CEA has also directed that the election result be prominently displayed on the bank’s website.
Earlier, the Authority had appointed V.J. Bhandari, Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Surat, as Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer in conducting the bank’s elections.
