A delegation of 11 in-service agricultural marketing personnel from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka visited the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) headquarters in New Delhi as part of a study tour.
The personnel are currently undergoing a 45-day Market Secretaries Training Course in Hyderabad. During their visit, NCDC Director (Planning & Coordination) Sunil Chhapola briefed the trainees on the corporation’s activities, functioning and role in promoting cooperative development.
Chhapola also highlighted various initiatives and schemes being implemented by the Ministry of Cooperation and the Government of India to strengthen the cooperative sector.
The interaction provided the trainees with an overview of NCDC’s work and its contribution to developing cooperative institutions and supporting agricultural marketing and related activities across the country.
