The National Dairy Development Federation of India (NCDFI) hosted a meeting of the Gujarat Chapter of the Indian Dairy Association (IDA), chaired by NCDFI Managing Director Dr Srinivas Sajja.
The meeting was attended by IDA Gujarat Chapter Vice Chairman Dr Satish Parmar, Secretary Dr Samit Dutta, Treasurer D. R. Shah, members Dr Aditya Jain and Nilesh Darji, along with special invitees Dr J. B. Prajapati and Dr Amit Patel. Jaydev Patel and Vrushant Dave participated as resource persons.
The members deliberated on the Chapter’s forthcoming programmes and initiatives, with a special focus on strengthening collaboration with dairy cooperatives and academic institutions. The discussions centred on organising awareness programmes for students, farmers and other stakeholders on the nutritional importance of milk, as well as issues related to animal feed and fodder.
The meeting reaffirmed the Indian Dairy Association’s commitment to promoting knowledge sharing, cooperation and greater awareness across the dairy sector through collaborative initiatives with cooperative institutions and educational organisations.
