The National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India (NCCF), in collaboration with Amul and the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), inaugurated “Sahkaar Van” at the Jamdoli Mountain Trek in Jaipur under the aegis of the Ministry of Cooperation.
The initiative was inaugurated in the presence of Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation Gautam Kumar Dak, and Cooperation Secretary Ashish Kumar Bhutani.
Conceived as a green initiative of the cooperative movement, Sahkaar Van seeks to promote environmental conservation and community participation through tree plantation.
The programme echoed the message, “Ek Paudha, Ek Sankalp, Ek Behtar Van” (One Sapling, One Resolve, One Better Forest), encouraging people to contribute towards creating a greener and more sustainable future. The initiative reflects the cooperative sector’s growing commitment to environmental stewardship alongside rural and community development.
