The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has been conferred with the 17th Institutional Leadership Award 2026 in recognition of its significant contribution to strengthening India’s cooperative movement and promoting inclusive agricultural and rural development.
The award was presented by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the 17th Agriculture Today Conclave. NCDC Deputy Managing Director Rohit Gupta received the honour in the presence of former Chief Justice of India Justice P. Sathasivam, who chaired the award jury, and other distinguished dignitaries.
The recognition acknowledges NCDC’s sustained efforts in supporting cooperatives, empowering farmers and fostering sustainable rural prosperity.
The corporation said the award reflects its commitment to advancing the vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’ through cooperative-led development across the country.
