The National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation (NCCF) and the Central Financial Credit and Investment Co-operative (India) Limited (CFCICI) have joined hands to strengthen cooperative retail and expand access to consumer products through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Shri Amit Shah, marking a new collaboration between the two cooperative institutions.
As part of the initiative, NCCF also launched the sale of its ‘Janah’ products, while the Vanitham She-Mart Shops, developed through collaboration between NCCF and CFCICI, were remotely inaugurated.
The partnership is aimed at creating a wider retail network while providing consumers, particularly women, access to cooperative products. ‘Bharat Atta’ and ‘Bharat Rice’ were also launched for sale through the Vanitham She-Mart Shops.
Separately, NCCF signed an MoU for fisheries supply-chain integration with the Bharatiya Matsya Pravartak Sangham and another agreement with Bharat Lajhna Sahakari Samiti for opening 300 She-Mart shops across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
