Marking five years of the Ministry of Cooperation, KRIBHCO organised nationwide group discussions on “Digital Transformation in Cooperatives” as part of the Cooperative Week celebrations being observed from June 29 to July 6, 2026.
The discussions focused on the growing role of digital technology in strengthening cooperative institutions through improved governance, greater transparency, efficient service delivery and enhanced outreach to members and farmers.
Participants also deliberated on how digital tools can modernise cooperative operations and improve their effectiveness in serving rural communities.
KRIBHCO said the initiative reflects the progress made during the Ministry of Cooperation’s five-year journey in promoting technology-driven reforms across the cooperative sector.
Reaffirming its commitment to digitally empowered cooperatives, KRIBHCO said it would continue supporting the vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’ by fostering innovation, efficiency and inclusive growth for farmers and cooperative institutions across the country.
