Co-op Ministry honours Swachhata Campaign Winners

The Ministry of Cooperation honoured winners of the Rangoli and “Waste to Art” competitions and felicitated Safai Mitras on Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2, 2026. The programme was held at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of Anand Kumar Jha, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.

The event was organised as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva-2026” campaign and highlighted creative efforts aimed at promoting cleanliness and responsible waste management. The competitions provided participants an opportunity to showcase innovative ideas through art while spreading awareness about sustainable waste practices.

The Ministry also recognised the contribution of Safai Mitras towards maintaining a clean and healthy workplace. The occasion underlined the importance of collective participation in cleanliness initiatives and efforts to build a cleaner, greener and more sustainable workplace.
