Gujarat Cooperation Minister Jitubhai Vaghani inaugurated WhatsApp Banking and Mobile Banking services of the Gujarat State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ltd., popularly known as Kheti Bank, during his visit to the bank’s head office in Ahmedabad.

Kheti Bank Chairman Dollar Kotecha warmly welcomed the minister at the bank’s office. The new digital services are aimed at making banking more convenient and accessible for members while connecting the bank’s traditional service-oriented approach with modern technology.

During the visit, Minister Vaghani paid floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Mata and offered homage to the bank’s founder, Yuvrajshree Udaybhansinhji.

He also participated in a plantation programme under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ and ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, highlighting the message of gratitude towards mothers and responsibility towards nature.

The programme featured a presentation on the bank’s growth journey, a documentary screening and an overview of its activities. The chairman, vice-chairman, directors and senior officials were present on the occasion.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
