A delegation from the Department of Cooperation, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, visited the Banaskantha District Cooperative Union in Gujarat as part of the Ministry of Cooperation’s campaign “Cooperation among Cooperatives.”

The exposure visit was led by Pelbang Tayeng, JRCS (Training), and aimed to provide the visiting officers with an opportunity to understand cooperative practices and institutional models followed at the district level.

The delegation included Obang Mibang, DRCS, Lower Dibang Valley District; Miss Lally Jonkey, ARCS, East Siang District; Miss Libi Karbak, JICS, Dibang Valley District; and Jidam Hiri, ARCS, Kamle District.

During the visit, the Arunachal Pradesh team engaged with representatives of the Banaskantha District Cooperative Union and gained insights into the functioning and activities of the cooperative sector in Gujarat.

The programme reflects the Ministry of Cooperation’s efforts to promote knowledge sharing, inter-state learning and collaboration among cooperative institutions, enabling states to exchange experiences and explore practices that can strengthen the cooperative movement at the grassroots level.
