IFFCO to set up bio fertilizer plant in AP

IFFCO will set up Bio fertilizer plant in Andhra Pradesh, announced its Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi during his Sahkarita Kisan Yatra in Kakinada last week. Bio fertilizers are very important for soil and gives better soil health & good crop yield, Awasthi said in his speech on the occasion.

Soon after the announcement from dais, he wrote on his twitter wall “#BioFertilisers are very imp for #soil. Gives better soil health & good crop yield. #IFFCO will put #BioFertiliser plant in #andhrapradesh”.

Addressing the farmers Dr. Awasthi wrote #IFFCO is committed for best quality #fertilisers & #ServiceToFarmers. We are open for new memberships. Let’s together grow #coop business”.

During his tour to Kakinada which was his 26th Destination, he inaugurated the Svachneer, first bottled of mineral water by a primary cooperative society in Andhra Pradesh. Awasthi also interacted with the local media in Kakinada and said IFFCO continuously keeps working for the growth and development of farmers.

As usual, he didn’t forget to mention the need of Cashless Economy and tweeted “#IFFCO is committed to educate our #farmers & #cooperators abt #CashlessEconomy at it’s centres& #50yearsofIFFCO events #Kakinada”.

Later, Awasthi visited Holy Sree Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Temple in Annavaram, Andhra Pradesh along with Chairman AP Markfed and Prayed for bright future for #IFFCO & farmers.

A day before, he toured Vijayawada his 25th destination on the occasion of the IFFCO Golden Jubilee. Meeting the farmers & cooperators directly in Vijayawada to know more about their needs, Awasthi wrote.

On the occasion IFFCO Subsidiaries participated in Agriculture Based exhibition in Vijaywada.
