RBI’s DGM inaugurates Souharda Fed’s training program

Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative, recently organized a 7-day training program for the employees of Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks at Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Padmanabhanagar, Bengaluru.

Smt. Ramakumari, DGM, RBI opened the training program by lighting the lamp, informs the press release issued by the cooperative.

M.D Narashimamurthy, Joint Registrar, Bengaluru, B.H. Krishna Reddy, President, KSSFCL, Dr R Elangovan, Director, RICM, Ravichandran, Director, RICM, Sharanagouda G Patil, MD, KSSFCL attended the inaugural program.

In his inaugural address, B.H.Krishna Reddy, President of KSSFCL said earlier KSSFCL conducted a program on Banking Training but this time it has been changed to a Certificate Course. He said the course has unique features which includes different study materials.

Following the inaugural program, Y V Gundurao, AGM (Retd), NABARD, Bangalore, gave a lecture on the Banking industry Scenario: Concept of Bank, Types of Banks-Status of Cooperative Banks- Emerging Challenges-expectations of stockholders.

Lalitha Sridhar, Faculty, SBI Staff Training College, Bangalore, delivered a lecture on the Banking Regulation Act –Important provisions governing Cooperative Banks.

N Sathyanarayan Faculty, SBI Staff Training College, Bangalore, offered a lecture on Creativity, Team building, Communication, Self-awareness.

There were 50 candidates from five Souharda Urban Cooperative who took the certificate course.
