Expanding the portfolio of Immunity Booster range, dairy cooperative titan AMUL has ventured into Cream Category too and has for the first time launched Haldi Ice Cream with the goodness of Haldi, Pepper and Honey and richness of dry fruits like dates, almonds and cashews.
“This delightful combination is a mix of health and taste in the same cup of Ice Cream. Turmeric is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. For centuries, traditional systems like Ayurveda have used haldi, both fresh and as a dried spice powder, to promote health”, reads a press release from GCMMF-the diary co-op confederation which owns brand Amul.
“Turmeric is also referred to as a super food world over for various health promoting properties, while Pepper is known to treat respiratory diseases. Honey is rich in antioxidants and with the addition of dry fruits like dates, almonds and cashews, Amul Haldi Ice Cream is healthy, wholesome and enjoyable in this festive season”, reads the media release on the occasion of launching of this new Ice Cream.
The product is available at a price of just Rs 40 for 125mL tamper proof Cups packing. In order to promote the new product Amul has also launched a nationwide TV and print media campaign. Available at all Amul parlours and retail counters, consumers can enjoy Amul Range of Immunity Products as their daily dose of immunity, co-op officials claim.
Haldi Ice Cream is being packed at state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in North and West India having production capacity of 5,00,000 packs per day, informs the co-op body.
Also to carry ahead the range, AMUL shall soon be launching Immuno Chakra Ice Cream – the Health trinity of Haldi – Ginger- Tulsi in delicious tri-colour Ice Cream stick of 60 ml and Star Anise Doodh in the 200 ml Can, claimed the dairy co-op titan.
It bears recall that to provide ready to drink options to the consumers across the country, Amul has already launched an immunity booster beverages range – Amul Haldi Doodh, Amul Tulsi Doodh, Amul Ginger Doodh and Amul Ashwagandha Doodh.
