Baroda Dairy Cooperative goes digital

Baroda Dairy Cooperative, a part of GCMMF has embarked on digitalization to improve its services. The bid would result in connecting it to a vast network of about 1,400 grassroots level member societies.

All the basic level societies could now easily keep in touch with it availing themselves of various services including veterinary help and cattle feed. It is the first dairy to have started to offer its services online.

Provision of services online will make things happen in next to no time and drastically reduce paperwork.

Development of the required software and data bank has cost about Rs 35 lakh and would need about Rs 15 lakh for annual maintenance. The digitalization would save the dairy a tad less than Rs one crore.
