Vamnicom is conducting a five-day Capacity Building Programme for Board of Directors members and Secretaries of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and Large Sized Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPS) from Odisha.
The training programme is being held at the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management from May 18 to 22, 2026, with the objective of strengthening governance, management and operational efficiency of grassroots cooperative institutions.
The programme focuses on enhancing the institutional capabilities of PACS and LAMPS functionaries through sessions on cooperative management, leadership development, financial administration and rural service delivery.
Officials said the initiative aims to equip cooperative leaders and secretaries with the knowledge and skills needed to support rural development and improve the functioning of cooperative societies in Odisha.
