Gujarat based Surat People’s Co-operative Bank celebrated its 105th Foundation Day with a strong social commitment, organising a series of blood donation camps across South Gujarat.
Established on April 21, 1922, the bank marked the milestone by reinforcing its legacy of trust and community service.
Held between April 12–13 and April 17–19, 2026, the camps witnessed an overwhelming response, collecting a total of 1,468 units of blood. Surat led the drive with 972 donations, followed by Chhaprabhatha (122), Kamrej (90), Bardoli (82), Navsari (92), Chikhli (37), Valsad (26), and Vapi (47).
With a total business exceeding Rs. 13,000 crore, the bank used the occasion to thank its stakeholders, customers, staff, and well-wishers for their continued support over the decades.
The initiative saw active participation from directors, employees, both current and former, as well as customers and the wider community.
The bank reiterated its commitment to social responsibility under the message “Save Life: Donate Blood,” making the celebration both meaningful and impactful.
