Shah to inaugurate Madhur Dairy Unit-2 in Gujarat today

Amit Shah will inaugurate the Madhur Dairy Unit-2 Automatic Milk Processing and Packaging Plant at Dashela in Gandhinagar on May 17, marking a major boost to cooperative dairy infrastructure in Gujarat.

The fully automated facility is expected to significantly enhance milk processing, packaging and quality control capacities, strengthening value addition and improving returns for dairy farmers linked with the cooperative sector.

The project aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi” aimed at promoting prosperity through cooperation.

Bhupendra Patel and Harsh Sanghavi will also attend the programme. During the event, Amit Shah will unveil the plaque, visit the processing facility and launch operational systems from the control room.

Women milk producers associated with dairy cooperatives will honour the minister, highlighting the growing role of women in India’s cooperative dairy movement. Certificates will also be distributed to representatives of milk producer societies during the programme.
