Reserve Bank of India Central Board member Satish Marathe participated in a one-day seminar for directors of Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs) from the Konkan region in Chiplun on Tuesday.
Organised by the Sahakar Bharati Sahakar Prashikshan Sanstha, the programme brought together around 40 chairpersons, directors and chief executive officers representing 16 urban cooperative banks.
The seminar aimed to strengthen governance, leadership and capacity building among UCB directors while providing a platform for deliberations on issues concerning the cooperative banking sector and the future growth of urban cooperative banks in the region.
