The Gujarat Urban Co-operative Banks Federation (GUCBF), along with its member Urban Cooperative Banks across the state, observed Cooperative Pratigya Divas on June 29 as part of the nationwide Sahakar Saptah celebrations being held from June 29 to July 6.
Chairpersons, directors, chief executive officers, officers and staff members took the Cooperative Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement through integrity, dedicated service, environmental conservation and the promotion of Swadeshi products.
Several member banks also organised tree plantation drives to mark the occasion, highlighting the importance of sustainable development within the cooperative sector.
The federation appreciated the enthusiastic participation of member banks, describing the collective response as a meaningful contribution to the nationwide campaign commemorating five years of the Ministry of Cooperation.
