The Odisha Government has given Additional Secretary Sangram Kesori Rout the additional responsibility of Chief General Manager of Odisha State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (OSCB), Bhubaneswar.
According to an office order issued by the Cooperation Department, Rout will hold the additional charge alongside his existing duties. The arrangement will continue until the vacant Chief General Manager post in the OSCB cadre is filled through promotion.
The government said the move has been made to facilitate the ongoing recruitment process for filling vacant posts in OSCB and District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) and to ensure the smooth functioning of cooperative banks in the short-term cooperative credit sector.
The order, issued by the Odisha Cooperation Department, came into effect immediately and will remain valid until further orders.
Copies of the order have been forwarded to the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Odisha, Auditor General of Cooperative Societies, Cooperative Tribunal, State Cooperative Election Commission, Director of Agricultural Marketing and the Managing Director of OSCB for information and necessary action.
