Dileep Sanghani held a cordial meeting with Manoj Sinha during the ‘Mahila Kisan Sammelan’ at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, organised on the occasion of International Women Farmers’ Year 2026.
The interaction centred on strengthening the co-operative movement in the Union Territory. Both leaders discussed the role of co-operatives in empowering women farmers and enhancing agricultural productivity.
Emphasis was laid on expanding institutional support, improving market linkages, and promoting inclusive growth through co-operative models.
The meeting reflected a shared commitment to advancing the co-operative sector as a key driver of rural development and ensuring greater participation of women in agriculture and allied activities across Jammu and Kashmir.
Sanghani’s son and wife, both cooperators in their own right, also attended the meeting.
