Soon after his return from the USA, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani met Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in New Delhi and discussed key developments in the agriculture and cooperative sectors.
During the courtesy meeting, Sanghani shared information regarding various programmes, meetings and important experiences related to agriculture and cooperation observed during the US visit. Discussions were also held on potential areas of collaboration between India and the United States in agriculture, agri-business, cooperatives and farmers’ empowerment.
The interaction focused on strengthening international cooperation and exploring opportunities that could benefit Indian farmers and rural institutions through innovation, technology exchange and improved cooperative practices.
Sanghani also appreciated Chouhan’s leadership in the fields of agriculture and rural development, highlighting his commitment towards farmers’ welfare and ongoing reform-oriented initiatives in the agricultural sector.
