The National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE) of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) has launched a three-day online Training of Trainers (ToT) programme aimed at strengthening the skills of cooperative education personnel across the country.

The programme, which commenced on June 8, has brought together 106 participants from nine states, including officials from State and District Cooperative Unions and Junior Cooperative Training Centres (JCTCs).

Welcoming the participants, Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, NCCE, highlighted the crucial role of trainers in building a stronger cooperative ecosystem through education and capacity-building initiatives. He outlined the objectives, structure and expected outcomes of the programme.

The opening day featured sessions on the Indian cooperative movement, the role of NCUI, principles of adult learning, training methodologies and the System Approach to Training (SAT). Resource persons included Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Assistant Director, NCCE, S.K. Tucker, Advisor, NCDC, and Rajeev Sharma.

Participants actively engaged with experts during the sessions. The programme will conclude on June 10 after a series of advanced technical sessions designed to enhance training effectiveness within the cooperative sector in National ToT Programme
