With cyber frauds on the rise across the country, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. organized a Cyber Security Awareness Session in Mumbai to educate customers and members on safe digital practices and online fraud prevention.

Held at Brahman Seva Mandal in Dadar, the programme witnessed an enthusiastic response from members, customers and staff.

Renowned cyber security expert Rajas Pathak led the session, highlighting emerging cyber threats such as phishing attacks, OTP scams, fake links, social media account hacking and the increasingly reported “Digital Arrest” frauds.

Pathak shared practical tips to help participants safeguard their personal and financial information while conducting digital transactions.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Dr. Kiran Thakur and CEO Abhijit Dixit stressed the importance of cyber awareness in today’s digital era and urged citizens to remain vigilant while using online banking and payment platforms.

An interactive question-and-answer session enabled participants to address their concerns. The event reinforced a simple yet powerful message: in the digital age, awareness remains the strongest defense against cybercrime.
