The Ministry of Cooperation has restarted the refund process for pending applications related to Sahara depositors, providing an opportunity for eligible claimants to pursue their pending refunds.
The Ministry has advised depositors to use only the official CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal for submitting new claims. Depositors who receive information regarding errors in their submitted claims have been advised to use the designated re-submission portal to make corrections and resubmit their applications.
The Ministry reiterated that depositors should rely on the official portals for the refund process and avoid unauthorised websites or intermediaries.
The move is part of the government’s efforts to facilitate the return of money to eligible depositors of the Sahara Group’s cooperative societies.
The Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) is overseeing the refund mechanism through the dedicated online system, which enables depositors to submit claims and address deficiencies in their applications.
The Ministry has urged depositors to follow the prescribed procedure and use the official portals for all claim-related submissions and corrections.
