Managing Director K. J. Patel has underlined the importance of responsible and sustainable manufacturing, stating that the organisation is strengthening renewable energy adoption across its production facilities.
He said the Paradeep plant has achieved operational self-sufficiency, marking a significant step towards efficient and sustainable industrial operations. Patel added that IFFCO is actively promoting the use of renewable energy sources, including solar power, across its plants.
The cooperative fertiliser major said the initiative aligns with its broader commitment towards environmentally responsible manufacturing and sustainable agricultural development.
IFFCO has been focusing on modernisation, energy efficiency and innovation, including the promotion of nano fertilisers, as part of its efforts to support sustainable farming and reduce environmental impact.
