Rajasthan allows co-ops to conduct AGM thru’ video conferencing

In the wake of Coronavirus, Rajasthan government has allowed cooperative societies to conduct their Annual General Meetings through video conferencing. The notification has been released in this regard by the cooperative department of the state.

According to the notification, now cooperative societies of the state can hold their AGMs through video conferencing. Co-ops are directed to arrange necessary things to connect all members through VC. Co-ops are advised to keep recordings of the proceedings of AGMs.

It bears recall that according to the state cooperative act co-ops are permitted to allow their AGMs before 30th September but due to Covid-19 they have failed to meet the deadline for conducting the meetings.
