PM to address Co-op Conclave in Gujarat; leaders begin planning

A meeting has been called on Wednesday at the headquarters of Ahmedabad-based Gujarat Urban Cooperative Banks Federation for taking the stock of preparations for the mega cooperative conference, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It will be organized at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre on 28th May afternoon. It is said that for the first time Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will share the dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a cooperative event.

The top cooperative leadership NCUI President Dileepbhai Sanghani, Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta, Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman G H Amin, Sabarkantha Bank Chairman Maheshbhai, Ajay Patel, and others are making efforts to make the event a success.

Meanwhile, organizers are busy circulating the message among cooperative leaders to join the event. A PTI report adds “Modi will address a conclave of cooperative sector leaders and dedicate a multi-speciality hospital in Gujarat on May 28, officials said on Tuesday.”

The multi-speciality hospital has been built by Shree Patel Sewa Samaj at Atkot village in Jasdan taluka of Rajkot district for the poor people of the region.
