Replying to the Motion of Thanks to President Droupadi Murmu’s address in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi refer to the introduction of Nano Technology in the farms of the country, calling it futuristic.
Modi said his government has introduced Nano technology in the country which has huge benefits for the farmers. “ We have introduced Nano Urea and Nano DAP successfully in the country which augurs well for the farming community”, said the PM.
The PM further said that a farmer walking around carrying a sack in the past, is now carrying the same in a bottle.
Modi also touched upon Drone Didis, informing that 15000 drone didis are in the making. These changes are sure to begin a new chapter in the history of farming in the country, said the PM.
The PM’s speech on Nano technology went viral soon and those behind the unique experiment felt happy at the appreciation. Losing no time, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi thanked the Prime Minister through a tweet.
Broadcast in Hindi, the tweet of the MD roughly meant :On behalf of IFFCO, I heartily thank the Honorable Prime Minister. We are proud that after being inspired by you, after years of hard research and experiments in crops, we have brought IFFCO Nano UREA and IFFCO Nano DAP to the farmers of the entire country.
Awasthi further wrote “Nano fertilizer manufactured by IFFCO is a concrete step towards the protection of our soil and environment and prosperity of farmers.”
