Surat-Tapi District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd. (Sumul Dairy) has achieved another remarkable milestone by securing the Second Rank among all GCMMF (Amul) unions for its outstanding efforts in tree plantation during the year 2024–25.

Recognized for planting over 10.95 lakh trees, Sumul Dairy’s initiative reflects its deep commitment to environmental sustainability and cooperative values. The award was presented by Shri Ashok Chaudhary, Chairman, Amul, and Shri Jayen Mehta, Managing Director, Amul, and was received by CA Arun Purohit, Managing Director, Sumul Dairy.

This achievement stands as a testament to the collective efforts of Sumul’s Dairy Cooperative Societies and its dedicated milk producers who actively participated in the plantation drive.

Their contribution reinforces the vision of a Greener and Cleaner Gujarat, aligning with the broader mission of Amul to promote sustainable and inclusive growth.
