IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, recently elected as a Director on the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Global Board, continued to receive felicitations on his return to Gujarat, with representatives of various Patel Samaj institutions in Ahmedabad welcoming him at the GUJCOMASOL headquarters in Gandhinagar.
Sharing pictures of the interaction, Sanghani expressed his gratitude for the affection and respect extended to him, describing the welcome as a deeply appreciated gesture.
His election in Panama has triggered a series of congratulatory events across Gujarat and the cooperative sector. Earlier, cooperators had gathered at Ahmedabad airport to welcome him following his return, where Sanghani said the cooperative movement could contribute to peace, security and prosperity by bringing people together.
Sanghani has also repeatedly underlined collaboration, inclusion and stronger international partnerships as key to the future of the cooperative movement. In his pre-election messages, he spoke of building bridges across borders through shared knowledge and collective action.
His latest felicitation in Gandhinagar reflects the wider recognition of his ICA victory, which has placed an Indian cooperative leader on the global governing board of the world’s apex cooperative organisation. The ICA’s own profile describes Sanghani as a cooperative leader with more than four decades of experience and notes his role in leading IFFCO and the Indian cooperative movement.
