The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has sanctioned a Rs 400 crore working capital loan to the Central Financial Credit and Investment Cooperative (India) Ltd., providing a significant financial boost to Kerala’s cooperative sector.

Surendra Kumar Suman, Regional Director, NCDC, Thiruvananthapuram, handed over the loan sanction letter to the Managing Director of the society.

The financial assistance is expected to strengthen the cooperative’s working capital position and support the expansion of its business activities. The Rs 400 crore facility also underlines the role of NCDC in providing financial support to cooperatives for growth and development.

The sanction comes at a time when Kerala’s cooperative sector is focusing on expanding its financial outreach and strengthening cooperative institutions.
