The Bihar cooperative sector has extended Rs 3 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support families affected by the ongoing floods in the state.
The cheque was handed over by Bihar Cooperation Minister Ram Kripal Yadav to Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary at Lok Sevak Awas in Patna, in the presence of senior representatives of the Bihar cooperative sector.
Of the total contribution, Rs 2 crore has been provided by the Bihar State Warehousing Corporation, while Rs 1 crore has been contributed by the Bihar State Cooperative Bank Ltd.
The assistance comes as flood-affected families across Bihar face difficult conditions and require support for relief and rehabilitation.
The contribution reflects the cooperative sector’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, particularly during times of natural calamity.
