NCCF leads MSP Pulses Procurement drive in Jhansi

In a significant move to strengthen farmer incomes and ensure price stability, the National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India Limited (NCCF) has commenced procurement of pulses at Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2026 in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

The procurement is being carried out under the government’s Price Support Scheme (PSS) in collaboration with Jhalkari Bai Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited (MKPCL) in Mauranipur.

By directly linking grassroots, women-led producer enterprise with a national-level cooperative body like NCCF, the initiative marks a crucial step in strengthening cooperative-driven market access.

This intervention ensures that farmers receive assured MSP for their produce, safeguarding them against market volatility.
