A key discussion on establishing a Strategic Cooperation Framework to strengthen cooperative value chains in Nagaland was held on Wednesday, at the Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS).
The meeting brought together representatives of the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd., MARCOFED and other relevant stakeholders to explore greater coordination and collaboration across the cooperative ecosystem.
The proposed framework aims to create stronger linkages among cooperative institutions, improve access to markets and finance, and enhance value-chain development for cooperatives across the state.
Discussions focused on identifying areas where participating institutions can pool their expertise, infrastructure and resources to support cooperative enterprises and improve their economic viability.
The initiative is expected to promote a more integrated approach to cooperative development in Nagaland, particularly by strengthening linkages between producers, cooperatives, markets and financial institutions.
