Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) supported by National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd (NAFED) participated in the Startup Conclave & Organic Agri Expo 2026 held in Pollachi, showcasing their expanding footprint in sustainable agriculture and agri-entrepreneurship.

The participation underscored the growing role of FPOs in promoting eco-friendly farming practices, value addition and stronger market linkages. Representatives from the FPOs interacted with entrepreneurs, agri-startups and buyers, highlighting innovative products and farm-based enterprises developed at the grassroots level.

NAFED officials said the platform provided an opportunity for FPOs to explore new business collaborations and expand their reach in domestic markets. The initiative reflects NAFED’s continued commitment to empowering farmers through collective action, enhanced market access and promotion of sustainable agricultural models.
