MP plans pension for co-op officials on lines of Kerala

Madhya Pradesh government is planning to give pension to the employees of cooperatives of the state on the lines of Kerala state.

For this, officials from MP had gone to Kerala to learn about their pension policy.Presently, the officials of cooperative banks and societies are getting provident fund based pension.

It was on the demand of officials that the cooperative department of the state had addressed the issue and sent a three-member delegation to Kerala.

The delegation has not yet submitted its report.

In Kerala, officials of cooperatives bank and societies receive half the amount of salary as pension after retirement.
