Modi to inaugurate Amul chocolate plant

Media reports say during his forthcoming visit to Gujarat Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate an Amul chocolate plant and address a gathering of farmers at Mogar village in Anand.

GCMMF chairman Parmar is quoted saying this new plant has a capacity to produce 1,000 tonnes of chocolate every month. At present, Amul is producing 20 tonnes of chocolate every day. This state-of-the-art facility has been set up at a cost of Rs 190 crore at Mogar, he said. .

Amul has become one of the leading producers of chocolate in the country.
