Chhattisgarh Cabinet Minister and Narayanpur MLA Kedar Kashyap inaugurated the new building of the Narayanpur branch of the District Cooperative Central Bank, Jagdalpur, marking a significant step towards strengthening banking infrastructure in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Kashyap said the new branch building would make banking services more accessible, organized, and efficient for local residents.
He noted that the upgraded facility would enhance access to financial services for farmers, self-help groups, traders, and the general public, thereby supporting economic development in the district.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Roopsay Salam, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Cooperative Federation; Dinesh Kashyap, Chairman of the District Cooperative Central Bank; Srinivas Mishra, Vice Chairman of the bank; Narayan Markam, President of the District Panchayat; and Indra Prasad Baghel, Municipal Council Chairman.
