The Mahayuti alliance has retained its control over the Satara District Central Cooperative Bank, winning all 21 seats in the election results officially declared on 3 November 2026.
According to the results, the BJP emerged as the single largest party, securing nine seats, while the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) won eight seats. The Shiv Sena (SS) secured the remaining four seats, completing a clean sweep for the ruling Mahayuti alliance.
In contrast, the opposition parties failed to open their accounts. The Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) [NCP-SP] and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) [UBT] could not win a single seat.
Of the total 21 seats, nine candidates were elected unopposed, while the remaining 12 seats witnessed a contest through polling.
The outcome reinforces Mahayuti’s political dominance in the district’s cooperative banking sector, with the alliance successfully retaining control of one of Maharashtra’s important district cooperative banks.
