Mahanand, the apex dairy cooperative organisation of Maharashtra, hosted a Knowledge Transfer Meeting for its member milk unions under the chairmanship of Anil Hatekar, Managing Director, Mahanand.
The meeting brought together MDs and senior officials of milk unions from across Maharashtra to share experiences and discuss ways to improve operational efficiency in the cooperative dairy sector.
Key areas discussed included NPS, biogas, various government schemes and NCDFI eMarket. The NCDFI team made a detailed presentation on NCDFI eMarket, highlighting its RFQ system and technology-enabled procurement platform designed to promote transparent, efficient and competitive procurement.
The team also outlined NCDFI’s IT solutions and other digital initiatives for the dairy cooperative sector. Participating milk unions shared their experiences of using NCDFI eMarket, offering practical insights.
The meeting strengthened collaboration between Mahanand, its member unions and NCDFI, with a focus on wider digital adoption, knowledge sharing and improved procurement and operational efficiencies across Maharashtra’s dairy cooperative network.
