Karnataka based Mahalakshmi Co-operative Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 26.72 crore for FY 2025–26, while its total business crossed Rs 1,212 crore, reflecting strong financial performance and steady growth.

Sharing the Bank’s achievements on social media, Yashpal Suvarna, President of Mahalakshmi Co-operative Bank, said the Bank has also strengthened its balance sheet, with deposits rising to Rs 750 crore and loans and advances touching Rs 551 crore.

Operating through eight branches across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, the Bank serves over 50,000 customers. During FY26, it recorded Rs 715 crore in deposits, Rs 497 crore in advances, Rs 46 crore in share capital, and a working capital of Rs 850 crore.

Suvarna highlighted that the Bank has declared one of the highest dividends to members for 16 consecutive years, secured an ‘A’ Grade in statutory audits, and won the Dakshina Kannada DCC Bank’s Prestigious Achievement Award for eight successive years.

With its operational area now covering 11 districts of Karnataka, the Bank plans statewide expansion. Looking ahead to its Golden Jubilee in 2028, Mahalakshmi Co-operative Bank aims to double its customer base to one lakh and mobilise Rs 1,000 crore in deposits, Suvarna said.
