Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) successfully organised a bio-fertiliser promotion programme at its Krishak Bharati Seva Kendra in Suratgarh. The programme featured soil testing facilities and an exhibition of KRIBHCO’s bio-fertiliser products, attracting enthusiastic participation from over 600 farmers.
Gajendra Kumar, Deputy General Manager (North India), KRIBHCO, was the chief guest and highlighted the vital role of Krishak Bharati Seva Kendras in serving farmers. He emphasised KRIBHCO’s responsibility towards farmers, the importance of soil health, and the need to adopt bio-fertilisers for sustainable agriculture.
The programme was chaired by Lakhvinder Singh, KRIBHCO General Body Representative Member, who stressed strengthening cooperatives and empowering primary societies to enhance farmer welfare.
Officials and experts from the Agriculture Department, Cooperation Department, Agricultural Research Centres, and other institutions also participated.
