Kerala: Rs 30,000 cr tainted money in co-op bank?

Kerala BJP general secretary K. Surendran has said about Rs. 30,000 crore of tainted money is lying in cooperative banks in the state and the central govt should take immediate action to stop tax evasion, reports Hindu.

The BJP functionary said the depositors of black money included politicians, real estate mafia, hawala dealers and terrorists.

He cautioned the central govt. against exempting cooperative banks from income tax net.
