A high-level review meeting at the Ministry of Cooperation featured a detailed presentation by the Managing Director of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited, highlighting key initiatives, growth strategies, and its expanding role in strengthening India’s agri-value chain. The presentation underscored IFFCO’s extensive field presence and farmer outreach across the country.
The meeting was chaired by Ashish Bhutani, who reviewed ongoing progress and helped align future strategies. Discussions focused on critical areas such as soil health, promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, and capacity-building of farmers to enhance productivity and resilience.
Senior officials, including Joint Secretary Raman Kumar, along with representatives from IFFCO and the Ministry, were present during the deliberations. The meeting reflected the government’s continued push to strengthen cooperative-led agricultural development.
