Amul opened its branch office-cum-warehouse near Lakhond Bhuj, the district headquarters of Kutch, on Saturday, Indian Express reports. GCMMF vice-chairman Valamji Humbal formally inaugurated the branch office.
Scores of prominent people including cooperative functionaries and distributors of Amul attended the function.
The release issued by the GCMMF quotes Humbal as saying this is a step aimed to increase the availability of Amul products in the region.
