Haridwar DCCB holds AGM; earns impressive profit

Uttarakhand based Haridwar District Cooperative Bank organized its 81st Annual General Meeting last week. During the meeting, it was announced that the bank earned a net profit of Rs 1.76 crore in the 2021-22 FY.

The bank deposits grew from Rs 661 crore (2020-21) to Rs 759 crore as of 31st March 2022. In 2021-22, the loan worth Rs 370 crore was disbursed.

Uttarakhand State Cooperative Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat was connected virtually with the AGM.

In his address, the bank Chairman Pradeep Chaudhary said, “Under the Deendayal Upadhyay Sahakari Kisan Kalyan Yojana, the bank disbursed loans worth of Rs 399 crore so far, out of which Rs 275 crore loans disbursed at zero interest rate.

At the end of the financial year 2021-22, the bank’s share capital and working capital stood at 20.68 crore and Rs 1037 crore respectively.

On the occasion, the bank secretary, Ramyag Tiwari presented the annual report before delegates, which was unanimously passed.

Haridwar DCCB Director Susheel Rathi, Surendra Singh, Devendra Kumar, UCF Former MD M P Tripathi and others attended the AGM.
