Gulfood Expo: GCMMF Chairman inaugurates Nandini Stall

In a notable display of India’s cooperative values and farmer-centric philosophy, Ashokbhai Chaudhary, Chairman of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), inaugurated the Nandini stall at the Gulfood Expo held at the World Trade Center, Dubai, on Tuesday.

The gesture emerged as a strong symbol of unity and mutual respect within India’s cooperative dairy sector. Although Amul and Nandini operate as independent brands, both remain key pillars of the country’s cooperative movement, sharing a common commitment to farmer welfare, empowerment, and quality excellence.

The inauguration conveyed an important message, that while healthy competition exists in the marketplace, cooperation remains the foundation of the cooperative model. The moment reflected the principle of “Cooperation among Cooperatives” on a prominent global platform.

Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) Managing Director B. Shivaswamy was actively present at the expo and engaged with international buyers, trade delegates, and industry stakeholders.

His interactions highlighted KMF’s strategic focus on expanding Nandini’s global footprint, exploring new export opportunities, and positioning the brand as a trusted symbol of Indian dairy excellence in international markets.
